Security Service Goals

Authorities continued that "The goal of law enforcement is to capture the greatest possible volumes of smuggled items and to detain organisers and participants so that these practices become unprofitable and present no risk to civil aviation."

International Concerns

Similar occurrences in adjacent nations have caused EU officials to accelerate discussions about improving airspace protection throughout the continent.
