Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
